A second and very powerful way to drive traffic is with ezines, I write articles and post them on article directories. Articles are very powerful way of getting one-way links to websites. Articles help people solve problems and they also send visitors to your website which is the first steps to make money online. And most of the time the visitors are very targeted traffic. Write articles often and publish them on many different article directories, make sure to find the best directories. I mean the ones with page rank 5 or better that has high traffic volume. Writing articles helps grow your backlinks over time for long term success.
Whether you have your own products or promoting some other affiliate programs using these traffic techniques will generate free traffic for your websites. As with any website you must have traffic to be able to make a profit in affiliate marketing or any internet business.
